Inspired by true events, this is a moving story of a high school teacher who—in order to keep his beloved job and prepare his students for their final exams—hides the fact that he is gradually losing his sight from the world.

Kacper, a high school history teacher adored by his students, begins to lose his vision. The medical diagnosis leaves no room for doubt: due to a genetic condition, he faces the risk of permanent blindness. Though initially devastated, he ultimately decides to conceal his health issues from his superiors so he can keep his job and see his students through to their graduation exams. His best friend, Wiktor, becomes the only person privy to his secret. As he grapples with his new reality and the challenges it brings, Kacper forms a close friendship with a colleague and tries to help a rebellious student, Klara, who is hiding a secret of her own.
