The story of 20-year-old Daniel, who during his stay in a juvenile detention center undergoes a spiritual transformation and secretly dreams of becoming a priest.
After several years behind bars, the boy is released on parole and then assigned to work at a carpentry shop. Instead of going there, Daniel heads to the local church, where he befriends the parish priest. When, in the priest’s absence, an unexpected opportunity arises, the boy seizes it and, posing as a priest, begins performing priestly duties in the town. From the start, his methods of evangelization stir controversy among residents, especially in the eyes of the strict churchgoer Lidia. Over time, however, the teachings and charisma of the fake priest begin to move people still reeling from a tragedy that shook the local community months earlier.
